Face lift

Face Lift

Walk back the clock with a Ritidoplasty. Commonly called “facelift” this is the procedure of choice to achieve an improvement in the visible signs of aging of the face and neck.

What is the Face Lift procedure for?

From small incisions to more complex treatments, we offer a number of treatment options for facial rejuvenation. The many types of facelifts allow our patients to achieve the look they want.

The facelift cannot stop the aging process, but it can improve the most visible signs by tightening the deeper structures. Readapting the skin of the face and neck, and removing selected areas of fat.

Types of Face Lift (ritidoplasty):

Procedure

Anesthesia
There is two types of anesthesia that can be administered: the first is local anesthesia with sedation, and the second is general anesthesia. The best option will be discussed with you in order to offer the best possible comfort with the minimum risk.

Incision
The incision will be made according to the anatomical area to be addressed. In this way, it is possible to approach the tissues and be able to reposition them in a younger position from the skin, muscle, and fat. In the case of the neck approach, the incision is made under the chin.

Wound closure
the wounds are closed with sutures, which are usually not absorbable.
